Dr. Jim MacLellan is a decision analyst who specializes in environmental issues. He has worked in various institutions including: the University of New Brunswick; the University of British Columbia; the University of Applied Sciences at Eberswalde Germany; Environment Canada; the University of Toronto and York University. Jim has an extensive background in ecology, sociology and economics, and experience with a large suite of analytical techniques which he uses to support his research\application in environmental decision-making, institutional capacity building, and climate change adaptation planning. Jim has taught, lectured and guest lectured internationally and throughout Canada, focusing on the practical application of knowledge and techniques. His work experience has included both fighting forest fires, as well as brokering securities in the Government of Canada bond market.
