Sanjeev Poudel

sanjeevSanjeev Poudel is currently Research Associate at Women in Environment (WE), Nepal. He received his M.A. from TERI University in Sustainable Development Practice (SDP) under South Asia Scholarship Program of Open Society Foundation (OSF). Prior to joining WE, he was an intern where he conducted Master thesis research on the Outcomes of Migration in Sustainable Livelihoods of mountain region of Central Development Region. His previous professional experience includes Research Associate at South Asia Watch on Trade, Economic and Environment (SAWTEE). He provided research assistance in the studies like Effectiveness of Aid for Trade, Learning Lessons from the Ground, export potential of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants and silver from Nepal. During his tenure with South Asia Institute for Advanced Studies (SIAS), he carried out research on local governance specifically focusing on Health and Education. At TERI University he was involved as a scholar on issues of Natural, Social, Health and Environmental science.
